For Mel's Challenge:

This is a card I made yesterday for a challenge posted on a fellow SU Demo & friends blog site Mel. The challenge finishes today, so I just scrapped in timewise and was to make a card using the below as inspiration.

I decided to use a water-colouring technique whereby I coloured in my stamp with water colour wonder crayons (known as Wet Watercolour Crayon Stamping). Then I spritzed the rubber with water and stamped onto cardstock. The faux ribbon was made from strips of cardstock. I also wanted to step away from the usual C6 sized card, and this actually measures 6"x6". If I were to make this card again, I think I'd like to use the Basic Black Textured Cardstock instead of the plain Basic Black 12x12 I cut down. I think it would just finish the card off, as this is just missing something IMO.

Supplies:
* Garden Whimsy & Baroque Motifs Stamp Sets.
* Basic Black 12x12. Only Orange & Whisper White Cardstock.
* Basic Black Stamp Pad
* Only Orange & Garden Green Watercolour Wonder Crayons.
* Spritzer Tool. Scallop Punch & 1/3/8" Circle Punch.

I really like this card Nerine (and not just because of the tulip!!). I didn't even realise you hadn't used ribbon until I read it...

This is lovely Nerine. I do love the textured cardstock too - it just adds a little something extra.
