A RAK From Lynn:

My poor blog has been feeling rather neglected of late. For those that don't know, I've had my Mum visiting and although we made time for stamping, I didn't make time to post those creations on my blog while she was here. On top of that, I've also become a SAHM again so that I can spend more time with my family and concentrate more on my SU business. So, at the moment, I'm still finding my way around my new found 'time' that I now have to 'manage'...LOL!

Moving on, isn't it lovely when you go to the mailbox and find something other than bills. Well, that's exactly what happened to me on Friday. Not only did I have a SU order waiting for me, but I also received this gorgeous card from Lynn B. Lynn has used the dahlia fold with the scallop punch for the main focal point and has highlighted it with a rhinestone brad. She's also used co-ordinating DSP, Cardstock, Ink and Ribbon for this stunning creation. Thank you Lynn for thinking of me.

RAK From the UStamp Team:

Several months ago, I signed up to an online stamping school called UStamp. Today, I received from the organisers this cute little thank you from the girls running the program. The little insert actually slides out from the top of the card for your messages. I've been making some projects featured on UStamp over the last week or so, and will post them during this week. If you like what you see and are interested in doing the online classes yourself, please email me (jasner5@bigpond.net.au) and I can forward details to you. Alternatively, I've provided a link above, so feel free to register that way - just remember to mention that I sent you :)

RAK From Kathryn:

Well, it was lovely last week to go to my PO Box and finding this pretty RAK from Kathryn M waiting for me. It was a thank you for a 'runner up' gift I sent her from my last beginner challenge. She's used the stamp set to make the card. Thank you Kathryn, I'm so glad you liked the stamp set and that you didn't already have it.

Someone Special...Who Could It Be???

Can anyone guess what my kid's watched on TV this afternoon...if you checked out the title and thought "Higgly Town Hero's" you'd be right. I've got the theme song rolling around my brain at the moment and I just can't get rid of it, it's frustrating!!!

So, in the spirit of "...if you can't beat them...join them" I decided to make a card tonight to send out to someone special who inspires me creatively...the best thing is, she doesn't even know who she is - and won't until she receives one of the above cards. How cool is that!!!

Tonight's cards are a 'sneak peak' at some up coming products from SU's soon to be released Mini Catalogue so I can't tell you what they are just yet. However, I'm going to re-iterate that I love this Mini and stand firm on the fact that it's just full of colour, energy and well...Summer!!! Incidentally, for those keeping track - I have a new favourite stamp set, actually, I have two new favourite stamp sets - can anyone guess what they are?
