Field of Posies:

At the moment, I'm playing around with idea's for a Poppin' Pastel swap. This is the card I envisioned and created for the swap before I found out that I'm also to use one eyelet for the swap as well. Thank goodness I only make one to start off with to make sure I like it, otherwise an eyelet would have been added willy-nilly had I done the other 7.

So, for me, it's back to the drawing board as I personally think an eyelet if added to this would look wrong - especially since I only have one packet of SU eyelets which don't mach this cards colour scheme.

In saying this though, I'm in love with this card. It turned out beautifully and the photo just does not do it justice. Added to this, the (and I'm sorry I'm going to sound a little full of myself here) perfect bow...it's a shame the girls won't be getting this one!

Supplies:
* Oh So Lovely (Level 1 Hostess set) and En Francais Stamp Sets.
* Basic Black, Going Grey, Whisper White and Rose Red Cardstock.
* VersaMark & Basic Grey Stamp Pads.
* Certainly Celery & Rose Red Pastels. I also used the Pastels applicators included with the stampin pastels as this was a rather detailed image.
* Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon.

What a beautiful card! I am so sorry not to be receiving it for the swap. And the bow is absolutely perfect.

Not full of yourself - it takes talent to be able to get a bow that looks that good! I'm still trying!

Love this card, you have every right to be proud of this one.
